Interview tips

Let's chat.... Interviews ❣️

We as Recruiters book in multiple interviews a week, constantly. After a while it becomes routine and we forget how intimidating it can be for you as candidates.

Before I decided to launch my own agency, I interviewed at a couple of places and for the first time in 6 years, was thrown in the role of candidate again. It was super fun but it gave me some new insight into the interview process.

These are some tips I thought may be helpful:
⚪ Ask questions back - It is a two-way conversation, go prepared with questions to ask and points to discuss that are important to YOU.
⚪ Be yourself - Be professional but never act like someone you're not.
⚪ Prepare - Go prepared with the interviewers background information (get this from LinkedIn), the companies values and understand what the business does in detail.
⚪ Practice articulation of your experience - The pressure can get to us which can cause us to waffle on and drift away from the key question asked. Prepare your answers to some of the typical interview questions and how to summarise yourself.

... And if you're like me, wear a high-neck top in case you get a weird anxiety redness on your chest! 😅

Interview preparation is vital, having gone through this myself recently, I will be ensuring I interview prep every candidate I send for interview in depth. Lock time in diary and run through everything together, so I can support your success.
